First look: Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman

Will Israeli beauty Gal Gadot look the part as Wonder Woman? Will she have what it takes to portray the most iconic superheroine of all time?

Regardless of our opinions on the matter, we are all dying to see the 29-year-old actress-slash-model as the Amazonian warrior princess in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. And director Zack Snyder has given us a preview.

Snyder tweeted an image of Gadot fully dressed as the warrior princess, writing, “Great time at #SDCC (San Diego Comic Con) this year!”

Do we think that Gal Gadot looks like Wonder Woman? As of this moment, pretty much. Of course, we don’t have much to evaluate her by, but she does look pretty lethal. Perhaps she should be holding the lasso of truth instead of the sword, though.

Two months ago, Snyder tweeted an image of Ben Affleck as Batman (with the Batmobile behind the caped crusader), which was shot with a Leica camera. And it seems that anyone with the slightly dimpled chin of Affleck is meant to play masked vigilantes.
