Oscars 2016: and the nominees are…

The Revenant picked up the most Oscar nods of the year, with 12 nominations. Eddie Redmayne earned his second Best Actor nomination in a row (fresh off his win last year for The Theory of Everything), while Alicia Vikander, Brie Larson and Rachel McAdams are among the actresses receiving their first ever Oscar nominations.
