If you share the same genetic code as Hollywood sex symbols like Scarlett Johansson or supermodels like Gisele Bundchen, you’re pretty much hard-wired to be very easy on the eyes yourself.

And while some of these siblings of celebrities steer clear of the entertainment industry, others eventually make their own mark in Hollywood as well (think Hemsworths and Francos). With the same movie star looks and inherent X factor, it’s no wonder that they’re often able to find success and fame themselves.

Regardless, we can’t help but be fascinated with these gorgeous families. Talk about winning the genetic lottery!

Here are ten hot celebrity siblings for you to feast your eyes on.

Scarlett and Hunter Johansson

Not many men can say that they shared a womb with Scarlett Johansson. Hunter Johansson has that privilege. The younger twin brother of Scarlett, Hunter came into the world three minutes after his movie star sister. And while he tried his hand at acting (he appeared in Manny & Lo with his Scarlett), Hunter pursued a career outside the entertainment industry, working as a community organiser at the Manhattan Borough President’s office and serving as a campaign organiser for Barack Obama.

Introducing himself as Scarlett Johansson’s twin brother must be a heck of a pick-up line; it makes Hunter simultaneously intimidating and irresistible!

Chris and Liam Hemsworth

The “Hemsworth” is probably one of Australia’s hottest exports to the United States since boomerangs and Hugh Jackman. And we’re all beyond thankful that we get not one, but two Hemsworths in Hollywood.

You know one as Thor, and the other as Gale Hawthorne, but Chris and Liam Hemsworth (who actually competed against each other for the role of Thor) have done plenty of American projects besides their gorgeous onscreen personas in their respective franchises. These hunky bros are really not that hard to miss; they both stand at least 190cm tall.

The third and eldest Hemsworth brother, Luke (yes, there is one more), is also an actor. And while he may not have as established a career in Tinseltown as his brothers, Luke is known for his role in the Aussie television series Neighbours.

James and Dave Franco

They are America’s answer to the Aussie invasion that is the Hemsworth bros.

James Franco first stole our hearts as Harry Osborn in the Spider-Man trilogy and has since had a very, very successful career, which includes an Oscar nomination. On another note, he has also proven his intellect and insane multi-tasking ability by attending multiple prestigious grad schools while continuing his film career.

Almost 10 years after young James charmed us as Spidey’s best friend, his equally gorgeous younger brother by seven years, Dave (or as James calls him, “Davy”), started getting his own share of the spotlight with central roles in 21 Jump Street, Now You See Me and, of course, Neighbors. And no one is complaining that Dave looks soooo much like his older brother.

Like the Hemsworths, the Francos have a third brother who is not a familiar face in Hollywood; the middle child, Tom, is an artist.

Gisele and Patricia Bundchen

It must be an incredibly interesting experience to be the fraternal twin sister of Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen (otherwise known to Pats fans as Mrs. Tom Brady). Whether that’s a blessing or a curse is for Patricia Bundchen to decide. But we’re thinking, as far as genetics go, that it can only be an advantage in the dating scene. Patricia’s already married, though.

Born five minutes after Gisele, Patricia is reportedly her twin sister’s manager. The Bundchen twins also have four sisters. Yes, you’re heading to Google Images now.

Emma and Alex Watson

Alex Watson must have thought that he had the coolest older sister in the world. How can he not, when he’s the younger brother of the one and only Emma Watson?

Almost a spitting image of his gorgeous movie star sister (the resemblance is almost scary, actually), Alex was obviously well equipped for the modelling industry. One of the most eye-catching work in his portfolio would be appearing alongside Emma in a Burberry commercial shoot. But Alex has established a modelling career all on his own.

He has had his fair share of screen time as well, starring in a background role in a Pixie Lott music video. During his younger days, Alex was also an extra in two Harry Potter films (one of which is Order of the Phoenix. You’re welcome.)

Blake and Eric Lively

How does Blake Lively do it? How does she always look like a walking piece of visual perfection?

Take a look at her smokin’ older brother, Eric, and you’ll quickly see that them Lively genes are a work of art.

Eric Lively looks just like what we would expect Serena van der Woodsen’s real life older brother to look like. Like Blake, he is tall, blonde and gorgeous. Standing at 6′ 2″ (188cm), Eric reinforces the fact that the Livelys are indeed statuesque folk (Blake is 5′ 10″/178cm). And they have the model-esque good looks to go with that.

Blake might be the household name, but big brother Eric started acting before his sister was even born. Eric’s credits include American Pie, The Pact, The Butterfly Effect 2, and several roles on television.

Elizabeth, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen

If you were a kid during the 1990s, the Olsen twins need no introduction.

But despite their almost indistinguishable appearance, Mary-Kate and Ashley are actually not identical twins (they’re fraternal twins. Two separate eggs.) It’s not that much of a surprise, then, that their younger sister, Elizabeth, shares their gorgeous looks as well.

The twins were major television stars from as early as they could speak, and Elizabeth followed suit by appearing in six of the twins’ productions when she was a kid. But Elizabeth eventually made more of a name for herself in feature films and has landed major roles several blockbuster projects. She recently appeared in Godzilla (as Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s wife) and will soon star in Avengers: Age of Ultron as the Scarlet Witch (Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s twin sister. Yeesh.)

On a side note, the Olsens’ older brother, Trent, is almost a spitting image of the girls himself. Talk about producing consistent results.

Penelope and Monica Cruz

At a glance, you might mistake Monica Cruz for Spanish beauty and Oscar-winning actress Penelope Cruz. They are sisters, after all.

In fact, the equally beautiful Monica was used as a stand-in for Penelope in long distance shots in Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides as the older Cruz was very visibly pregnant during the second half of filming.

Like Penelope, Monica started out as a dancer, although Penelope studied classical ballet and Monica trained in traditional ballet and flamenco. Monica eventually pursued an acting career as well, starring in the Spanish television series Un Paso Adelante.

Sofia and Sandra Vergara

Sofia Vergara (or Gloria Pritchett to Modern Family fans) is as curvaceous as she is hilarious. Naturally, we can expect her sister, Sandra, to be stunning as well.

The younger Vergara, who is an up-and-coming actress, is actually Sofia’s cousin. But they are siblings by adoption and grew up together, so it still counts.

Julianne and Derek Hough

For the Hough siblings, good looks isn’t the only thing that runs in the family. The pair found huge success on Dancing with the Stars, which Julianne won twice (back to back) and Derek was the champion for a record five seasons.

We sure would like to see the Hough family’s trophy room.

Both siblings have also pursued acting careers, with both appearing as Hogwarts students in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Julianne snagged several lead roles in Hollywood, playing central characters in Rock of Ages (which Derek made a cameo appearance in), Footloose, Safe Haven and Paradise.
